Resources for Parents of Challenged and Gifted Children
While many of these links are not specifically homeschool-oriented, I include them because they do provide information about a variety of information about the aspects of raising challenged and gifted children. We would like to have more information and links specifically dealing with home education for parents with these very special kids. If you know of a site that deals with this home education subject or would like to post an article about this subject, please let us know. Preference is given to pages with content, not just lists of links. Personal stories are very powerful and can provide untold support to folks who may be going down a road you have already travelled.
Why Challenged and Gifted Resources are on the same page: In your webmaster's search for web-info on this subject, she found that, in many cases, challenges and special giftings occur with the same child; thus, you may have a child with a 160 IQ who can't sit still or focus on anything for more than 30 seconds. Since none of us nor our children fit neatly into little cookie-cutter packages, it was thought best to have both in one place for your convenience.

The authors come from a very wide variety of educational, religious, and
