Fruit Hill School - south end of West Street, Maquon, IL, 309/289-2817.  Hours by appointment.  Formerly a one-room schoolhouse, now maintained by the Maquon Historical Association.  Local history and Native American artifacts.
Knox-Galesburg Symphony - Most concerts are held at the Orpheum Theaater (see below).  Call 309/341-7268 for season schedule.
Knox County Museum - Old County Courthouse, Knoxville, IL ; 309/289-6919.  Call for tour information.  Admission is free; donations gladly accepted.  Local history, Lincoln-Douglas Debate memorabilia, and Native American artifacts.
Snakeden Hollow State Fish and Wildlife Area - 1936 State Hwy. 167, Victoria, IL 61485, 309/879-2607.  Fishing, boating, hunting, and other outdoor activities.  Call for hours and admission information.
