Fort Crevecoeur Park - 301 Lawnridge Drive, Creve Coeur, IL 61610, 309/694-3193.   Built by LaSalle in 1680, the actual fort no longer exists, but the Peoria Historical Society has designated this as the official location.  The original fort was the first permanent structure built by Europeans in this area.
Glen Oak Zoo - 2218 N.
